|

I've always recorded guitars etc in an external program and cleaned up the recordings before using them in Buzz, but I can't do this live.
So, does any of you Linux types have audio inputs working under Wine?
Which sound driver for wine do you use? Which driver and input machine in Buzz? or is it not possible?
I tried various combinations so far and managed to get a hum, clicks (sampled for later noisemusic fun) or no input all. |

Ok, did it after remembering about Polac's ASIO.
I'm going to post how I did it, incase I need to set this up again.
1 - Set up ASIO for wine
2 - Set wine to use Jack in winecfg
3 - Set Jack to use ALSA so it sees the USB soundcard
4 - Use Polac's ASIO driver in buzz
5 - Use the polac input machine
6 - ???
7 - Profit! |
