Anyone have or care to make a list of machines that uses Polac Out or Out II? How about just name one if you know of one. I don't think there's that many really..

ah yes - multibandit - excellent machine although I have yet to find a proper use for it.. it will come though...

Fuzzpilz - you should really release a pack of your 'smaller' machines to the wider buzz cumminity. Zwopp, multibandit, verbiage, moogoo, etc are all excellent stuff I have not found any major bugs with or missing features...

yep it works, multio at least ... not sure what u mean by mutli-i
very small example, nothing special
http://www.noolmusic.com/temp/utrck_multiout_example.bmx

it works but when u try to solo other machines, one of the out's enevitably starts to make a really loud retrigging noise ...

i Really hope fuzzpilz fixes this at some point Smile
right now i just do it the old way

Smile

Good use of Multibandit:

fixing old breakbeat drumloops.

1. split the loop into 3 parts with multibandit.

2. gate and EQ the lows to tighten and improve the kick.

3. EQ the highs to add life.

4. EQ the mids to add snap to the snare.

5. Add Reverb to the mids.

done. The Breakbeat is now more badder asser.

the downfall to Utrackers current implementation is the following:

say i've just managed to track out a decent beat using 4 tracks
and i want to affect just one of these tracks and bundle the other 3 and treat them as one signal. Strictly this isn't possible, because :

all 4 tracks will go to the main out. even though one of them has been given it's own polac out. if not all tracks are dedicated a seperate out then all tracks seem to get forced into the regular utracker out stream.

i dig utracker.
a ' omit channel from main utracker out ' command would rok muchly.

Hopefully this makes sense. (Anyone who says " just make a template with a utrk connected to a load of polac outs " yes.. i do.. or Use a new Utrk for any new part to a choon.. .sure i can do that too .. but then.. i'd have nothing to get my knickers in a twist about .. and i like to minimize the connection count as much as possible) .

hmm
78 Set output channel used by this track. No value resets.

u can do it one of two ways ...

either manually set ur channels in patterns to which out machines u want ur signal to flow to

or

configure your chains so u have multiple polac outs connecting to one machine while one polac out goes to a different machine

i think this is what u want at least

i dig utracker.
a ' omit channel from main utracker out ' command would rok muchly.
--> set it to a 78 out that is different, nextel, done.

the retrigs when muting is a much bigger issue imo Smile

i'd still appreciate the omit command.
i think i've been told to dream on already, but there is always Utracker2 expected somewhere in the next 20 years.

one of the reasons i havent been using Utrk as much as i'd like is because i've been using samplegrid and it's multiout for a long time now .. and then when i want a normal tracker (which is 90% of the time) im just super accustomed to Mtrk. There's so many reasons to switch from mtrk to utrk tho. Sound quality being one of them..

I use it for basslines - I control the low end's volume with a PeerEnv and the bassdrum, apply chorus to the mids and do pan sweeps with the treble. Sounds awesome Very Happy

no, it's not compression, just a volume thing...

check out http://www.suckmaschine.de/wayfinder/bc/sidefork.zip

on the mixer, channel 1 is the bassdrum, channel 2 the effected bass and channel 3 the unaffected bass (for comparison purposes)
