If you want a machine size grid, save the following images and put them into the ThemeExample folder.
Edit theme.xml
Background Bitmap="greynw0.jpg" Mode="Tile"
Edit theme.xml
Background Bitmap="greydarkwv2.jpg" Mode="Tile" |

Thanks! I threw in the graphics used in this one below. Just rename the "generator_alt.bmp" to "generator.bmp", etc. There's also another background (wooden floor) in there aswell.

I accidently stumbled upon this wallpaper taken from The Matrix Reloaded movie of the zion control..and I thought "sweet! that was almost 10 years ago now..and it still looks cool."
So I got inspired to do a similar theme for new Buzz, which is also getting close to 10 years after finally getting a "remake", so I thought it was suiting.
Buzz: Restyled
It's a bit blue compared to what you see in the movie. Also, turn the shadows off. The first one has a clean background in machineview. The other have some slight detail in it, like the first wallpaper:

if you enable 3d pattern boxes the color isn't affected by this theme _________________ Check out my group "Jeskola Buzz Buzzers" on facebook

what i mean is that the color doesn't change for the pattern boxes. It retains the color from the theme that was set before it. _________________ Check out my group "Jeskola Buzz Buzzers" on facebook

Ah, I see. Don't know how to fix that tho. Same with the yellow bar in the sequence editor.
Anyone know? |

| nice. ive experimented with several different machine shapes.. a bit of a shame we can't go smaller (hopefull) and that the shadows are static. i thought they were opengl @ first but i guess reading back to oskaris posts about them it appears they're bitmaps as well. |

Silly thought, but imagine the machine window in 3-space with the sequencer and pattern editor windows overlayed in 2D... _________________ Why waste money on psychotherapy when you can listen to the B Minor Mass? ~Michael Torke |

| i could see what i can do about the sharpness. it was kind of bugging me too. those images are 'print screens' from an emulator that i tossed into photoshop.. maybe theres some emulator settings i can play with or maybe a filter in PS that will clean it up. |

using the original images, you could create a layer and redraw the boxes over the top of them without anti-aliasing, that will give it the original sharp look. pixel by pixel drawing with the pencil tool zoomed way in. _________________ http://www.lazytrap.com/ |
